So. Enemy has an Illari. Normally, we would think about how to break her Pylon, either using thorns or Tree. But what about using the Tree not to break it, but block its LoS? Any chance that might be the play in some situations?

Waste of an ult, illari can just break her own pylon for a shorter cool-down if you don’t break it
Unless the tree is used for other purposes, it can get the added bonus of blocking LOS
Yeah better off to break it with the tree at least. You don’t wanna just block.
I realize the pylon-blocking aspect of this strat would only end up being a very brief advantage, but sometimes little moments can have a big impact. I figured that combined with the other benefits of the Tree might be what it takes to create an opening in certain scenarios
Ideally, we definitely want to be breaking it if possible. But sometimes it’s in a really difficult spot that makes it hard to accomplish, even by flanking, so I got musing
I just really love exploring every single possibility with Weaver’s kit. The potential is absurdly vast. Sometimes we make a breakthrough, other times not so much
