a lot of the Problems overwatch has right now, can be solved with this team system. “Meta” comps will be less of a problem, because the entire player base can solve that problem in a matter of a few weeks. monthly tournaments, team vs team.

overwatch doesn’t believe in team play
that’s why you don’t have a team accessible scoreboard like every other competitive game
this game is literally built for trolling others because of the medal system
it’s the fault of everything and the fact that it assigns a tie to teammates on the same team is mind boggling
it has caused so many in team fights
and extra toxicity than it probably ever has avoided there jeff
and with no team accessible scoreboard you have no idea if someone is lying or not through voice coms
no way to fact check
and it’s the internet so everything is a lie
so there ya have it

In terms of guilds they have talked about this.
Overwatch really likes the idea of guilds but in order to develop guilds Blizzard Entertainment must do it as a whole throughout all their games.
Wth that doesnt make any sense.

if we had something like this, basically everyone would be a guild leader
forming teams isn’t about guilds, it’s about stacking up your friends list and the ability to take notes on them. That’s essentially all we really need.
