Got accused of feeding

Had a match earlier today, during which our tank (D.Va) accused us of feeding and not healing. While I fully accept the first part (I ended the match with 8 deaths), I will not accept the second part of that accusation. I ended the match with 5k heals, which is not the highest, but also not the lowest. For what it’s worth, for the match in question, I was running Mercy.

I’ll also add that, the whole time the rest of us were actually engaging in the match, our tank was flying all over the map and spamming ‘hello’ and ‘goodbye’ in the chat. They hardly participated at all.

Your best course of action is to not respond to people like that. Disable chat if needed. Let them talk into the void while you continue doing your own thing.

They were probably trolling all match- finally tried for 2 seconds- got mad when they weren’t matching the pace of their own team, then flamed.

Post the code lol. We either roast the tank or we come to something fruitful for you to work on.

Well, derp. I deserve all the roasting in the world, because I’m watching the replay, and my team actually lost the match.

Still, though, I think we would have stood a least a chance if the tank had actually participated.

Also, here’s the replay code: JGEF9Z. If you play Mercy or know someone who plays Mercy, any advice on positioning, who to prioritize for heals, etc. would be greatly appreciated. I know that half the reason we lost was because of my sloppy gameplay.

That does make sense. Generally you need the tank to participate. I would say that you have correctly analyzed the problem.

Thanks. I edited that post a bit, let me know if you have any input on playing better.
