thats the biggest thing, it smurfs who gave that impression. funny enough people hate higher SR tiers but build their opinion around it.
the fact remains the only real meta this community has really experienced is the heavy tank meta and nothing else. as the tank metas requires low skill and low awareness.

any issues with role queue is easily solvable by having 2 tanks 2 supports 2 flex.

If a dps player can’t play healer you want to force him on Ana to have a 2-2-2 ?
You guys overestimate 2-2-2 so much, solo tank 3 dps 2 healers is fine.
Better have a good dps than a trash healer even if it means i’m gonna solo tank.
What matters is not 2-2-2 it’s making a comp that makes sense.
Winston, Genji, Tracer, Widow, Mercy, Zen for example is not a 2-2-2 but it makes sense on a dive oriented map like Gibraltar.
When you see that in the world cup they run solo heal Mercy 3 tanks on Junkertown 2-2-2 is not a holy thing.
Even better, heres january, where winston and dva were the most played tanks at higher ranks.

Also would like to mention that if you scroll down and see the current hero meta trends. Every component of dive (genji, zen, tracer, winston)(except dva, who will always be meta due to Waifu status) have a curve where its low at lower ranks and highest at Gm.

gasp DVa is Dive who knew! At some point, it’s best to just admit you’re wrong, or go the easy route and just say “XD was trolling btw” instead of continuing to do whatever it is you’re doing. But hey, if you like being willfully wrong, you do you.
