Comp is a meme anyway full of tryhards and trolls and leavers. Who plays that anyway? Who even has fun in that? I’m surprised people still play it
I love comp to death. Sure there are some toxic players and throwers but if you ignore that then it’s a fun way to play the game and improve.

The way this game is designed your main sign of improvement is how well you work within a team. Problem is that this is such a rare thing outside of a 6 stack to see people truly working together that it becomes almost completely worthless.
There was a post in the old forum that said it perfectly. OW is a ‘selfless game being played by selfish people’.

What’s not to understand, they left we didn’t. I grouped with friends because they wanted to play comp, I personally haven’t really touched it since season 6. I do placements but that’s all I commit to. I just thought that after all this time SOMETHING would be different. Just didn’t expect it to only take a game and a half to remind me why I don’t bother. You trying to justify this person only helps solidify the joke that is OW competitive.
I understand that, people don’t leave nearlly as often as you think, yesterday I play comp for 6 hours, and only had 1 person leave in that time (17 games), and they didn’t leave becuase they were mad at the team, they left becuase they had to. People need to realise that Blizzard can do everything in there power to prevent people from leaving overwatch comp, but the truth is, people have the freedom of speech, to bear arms, and to leave a video game. Get over it, Get over yourself. Overwatch isn’t a joke, neither is comp, the issue isn’t the game it is with the people playing it. If you don’t want people to leave your games, get a team of 6. I really don’t understand why you think comp is a joke becuase somebody left the game. If he thinks your trash, rise to the occasion so you can laugh in his face and prove your better, it has been done before. Think about that the next time you play.

And right here is the simultaneous greatest strength and weakness of Overwatch.
When everyone is cooperative, this game is a ton of fun.
When just one person is out of sync with the team, it usually leads to a big red “DEFEAT” on your screen.
Overwatch in a nutshell - “It takes 6 to win and just 1 to lose.”
And this right here is the best possible summary of Overwatch -
People need to realize this is a team game. You are not going to accomplish much on your own. OW is not about getting that flashy POTG at the end of the match, its about working with your team to fulfill the objective and ultimately win the game together.
The worst part is people need to cooperate at the very beginning of the game, before the game even starts. If you have a bad comp, you know you are going to lose before you even run into the enemy team. Fix it.

Because administrator of this game refuse to actually punish the people who deserve it
it gets harsher for repeat offenders.
Then again, I personally don’t too many leavers and throwers.
They’re there certainly, and horrendously annoying when you do get them, but ignorable overall. Also I find that a positive attitude reduces the chance of people tilting making me less likely to get them.
