So many characters can get easily away from Reaper.
And you can do nothing.
Reaper’s abilities are very one dimensional.
And his teleport is no chasing tool.
Just one example, Sojourn has a slide ability with a highjump.
That’s basically two abilities in one button.
Reapers really lacks behind compared to other dps in utility.
I think he should get some sort of skillshot with cooldown as rightclick in the style of Solider’s Helixrockets.
Yeah Reaper needs utility.
A selfish hero who’s only job is kill, and is only meta when he’s pocketed.
I’ve always wanted smoke bombs to help out my team, maybe give xray on people inside the smoke cloud, would combo perfect with his kit
Allow him to move around and shoot while shadow step is activating, so you can maintain pressure and mobility in your front and suddenly pop up somewhere else. Maybe nerf the cooldown as compensation for its new power.
Think of how amazingly more fluid he would be and feel and the potential for you to actually use your own mobility to try and bypass your range weakness.
They could also make it take a tiny bit longer to teleport since it would be less risky to use.
What more should reaper do, though? If you want to do more than kill, why not pick a different hero?
Reaper is probably the most outdated hero in the roster right now. He is supposed to be this stealthy assasin but everything in his kit says otherwise.
His tank busting niche is extremely fragile, not saying it doesnt work but it requires so much effort compared to a Hanzo or even a McCree. The recent nerf to wraith with the addition of CC in the form of being hindered definitely makes him a much less viable pick.
You always have to think 3 steps ahead before commiting to a fight.
Reaper has been in need of a right-click since 2018.

See, that sentence is funny with no context. Megaman had to drop N-Bombs to beat one of the robot masters.
Wasn’t he completely dominant in OWL just this past season? It seems wild to think that he needs a complete overhaul.
I think I was just graduating when I heard the term used in that context.
I believe it is now called “N-Grenade” but I will always use the original moniker for just the hilarity factor.
Skillshot?
I dont think any thing is a skill shot in overwatch other than like catching an ult with deflect, matrix, or grasp which is usually by accident.
Reaper would just do better with smoke grenades where he makes a winston or mei ult sized sphere where enemies cant see inside, but reaper and his teammates can see.
What if they make his wraith form lore accurate and allow you to hold space/ctrl to fly up or down. So you can escape to high ground, or chase your foe to the high ground they escaped too.
That sounds both hilarious and awesome. Add in a voice line if you kill them with it “gunned em dowwwwwn”.
