Ah, I forgot they specified Brig, I suppose I thought that was such a weird comparison to make. A slow heal-over-time would be a huuuuge nerf compared to getting instant barriers stacked onto his health, so I made an assumption that in this suggestion, The Best Defense would just transfer qualities one-to-one.
Well you’ve already listed some of them but for some reason don’t include them under the category “has a self-heal trait.” Roadhog, Bastion, Soldier 76, technically Sombra, Tracer, Mei, and any hero that has shield health. All of these heroes have a capability to heal themselves in some fashion, just not specifically like Brig or Lucio where it’s necessarily a slow heal-over-time.
So, I still stand by what I said, that a role does not limit the devs from implementing a self-heal trait on anyone. Even if that self-heal is a passive, there’s nothing written in God’s rule book that says, “DPS video game characters cannot self-heal as a passive.”
