The problem with Symmetra is that there is not a lot of backstory that explores her identity and Archives is about exploring the Overwatch universe’s past. The only thing I can think of is some Brazilian themed skin to reflect her time spent in Rio De Janiro revamping that city or possibly a skin that celebrates the culture of Utopia (Vishkar’s signature project city which we know virtually nothing about).

It doesn’t necessarily have to reflect her backstory exactly though. It can be a skin inspired by things related to her.
For example Bastion has gwinshin but he is not the Gwinshin himself.
Or Orisa’s OR-14 Omnic crisis skin.
And a lot of epics simply have nothing to do with archives like Bear.
And even then we have voicelines that don’t just reflect backstory but a character’s culture. For example Sym has the voiceline “Timepass” from Archives simply because it is an Indian Slang (I think) so this opens possibilities for skins.
Or they could even reveal new lore via the skin. Such as Scion Hanzo being from his business meetings but not actually being something we knew he did exactly

But on a serious note.
A Rio Carnival skin?! Omg with the feathers, headpiece, girl, I’d die for it!
But I’m sure there’s some ideas they could do, such as;
Vishkar Acadamy Symmetra, we know she was put in this academy at a young age due to her talent, we could see a younger look at symmetra in this academic uniform.
In addition, not all skins form archives have to be canon. Correct me if I’m wrong but I don’t think Racer Zarya, High Roller Wrecking ball or Bear Mei are canon.
I wouldn’t be opposed to a Model Symmetra skin
You know she’s an icon, she has the model body, she was already on a magazine if you remember that. She’s the face of Vishkar in my eyes
