Oh man.

This sucks.
Now i can’t tell the losers that their efforts were all in vain and that they were no match at all and that they lost even before the match started and that clearly we were the superior team with me being the superior-est carry and that it truly was a stomp and that they had no chance because i am THAT good and that my team clearly was the victors in every fight and that clearly it was me clearly leading my team with muH SKilLz that made everything and everyone of my team better. Like clearly. Cause im so good that the game is too ez.

Friendly reminder that the GGEZ filter can by bypassed by typing:

  • g g e z
  • g gez
  • gge z
  • _ggez_

It’s not a particularly great filter. It’s intended to be a joke.

I’m not encouraging people to spam ‘ggez’ in their games, just pointing this out before the inevitable threads demanding Blizzard use this same system to filter other words.

Yup, that’s the actual problem here. Still have no clue why we even have match chat when all it does is provide you with all the forms of “ez” from the winning team and other words that aren’t allowed on TV.

No, just match chat. It serves NO function other than those “bots in practice range were harder” comments. Why didn’t OW do what HotS did and not have match chat outside of custom games is beyond me. Did Jeff seriously think peple are gonna be making friends all the time or something?

But you do know that’s been in the game since launch, right?

That is what those “gg” after someone wins with a complete stomps truly are. It’s nto some “after game handshake” or “traditional manners” it’s to show how much better you think you did. Won’t even wait for the losing team to call the game good most of the time, just rush to match chat with those two letters as soon as “VICTORY” shows up.

Why are people stating they “added it back”, they never removed it, just fixed a bug that caused it not to work. They weren’t “stooping” to snowflakes, or trying to censor poor sportsmanship, they were just bug fixing
