Getting booted from Junkenstein's Revenge mid-game

I’ve been experiencing a problem onyl when playing Junkenstein’s Revenge. Right when Roadhog spawns for the very first time, my game will disconnect from the game and boot back to the main menu for about 5-10 seconds, then reconnect. I recently bought an AC1200 Netgear router, and after reading a bit on the forums (like below) I’m thinking it’s somehow part of the problem:

However, the issue was never resolved then. Hoping someone can help me out here, cause it’s really ruining the event so far.

For reference, I have no problems playing PvP. Only in Junk’s Revenge so far.

Same problem here + It happens in every pve event.
I and many others have had this problem for over two years now and the devs have not responded to players not fixed the problem.

Yeah It looks like I get kicked every 5th wave, and it auto rejoins me back. Every single Junkensteins Game.

Have the exact same router, this post probably has the solution you’re looking for (it’s worked perfectly fine for me so far).
