Getting Banned unfairly

Hello

I have been trying yo play overwatch, but for some reason or another im getting disconnected out of games, it does not matter which Id or password I dont seem to be able to enter to the game once disconnected, I need to enter via the battle . net launcher and I get banned 20 hours.

this has happened more than once, and I think you need to review your parameters of how someone gets banned, I have disconnected from games were I just won and I still get banned.

Is there something can cant be done… Because from my point of view I am getting punished because I am trying to play. It is not my fault that my Country has crappy internet

sure that not your fault but want to know what is? The fact you dont move, the fact you dont pay for better internet, the fact that you play comp and know that you have bad internet which in turn outs the bans on you because NO ONE wants to be in a game with a laggy leaver doesnt matter if you win or lose people will still report that because they dont want you to leave and cost them the game.

Rejoining a game is only possible during certain phases of the game. If you leave a game either during the pre-game or during the first minute of the game, the game will automatically cancel (remember the 10 second rule does not apply to the leaver, but as a warning to other players that the match will cancel). You can rejoin the match during the initial hero selection screen if you are lucky enough to quickly reconnect though.

Otherwise, you can only rejoin any-time after one-minute of match time has passed up until the match completes. However you only have two minutes to do so without penalty. If you rejoin a match after two-minutes, you will still automatically be marked with a loss an be penalized with a -50 SR cut and a ten-minute suspension. This rule ensures that no one can abusive the leaver system by attempting to return to a match after deliberately leaving in order to avoid such penalties. Furthermore leaving three or more times in a single match will result in an automatic penalty. If you fail to return to a match by the time it ends normally (regardless of match result) you will be penalized.

Unfortunately all disconnections and game crashes counts as leaving the match and will be penalized appropriately. The game server has no way to discern a legitimate disconnection or game crash from one that is forcefully caused by a dishonest player to bypass leaver penalties. You can learn about this policy here:

Remember if you see the message, “Lost Connection to the Server” in the title screen or the message “Failed to Connect to Server” in red text in the text chat box, this means there is something that disrupted your connection to the game server and not a problem with the game server itself. There can be a variety of reasons this happens including those that don’t disconnect your computer from the Internet. There is great troubleshooting to start with that can most likely resolve most issues and I encourage you to check them out here:

As always if nothing in that guide works, please reply saying you completed these steps and additional advice can be provided. Good luck!

I understand that you are frustrated with leavers, but please try to be a bit more respectful. While it is important that those who do leave (whether it be intentional or not) are penalized, these comments do not help anyone. After all anyone including you could suffer a disconnection, crash, or power outage of some sorts, so please think about how you would feel if you got penalized for something outside of your control. Remember to use the new Looking-for-Group system when it launches to pair with reliable players for a better Competitive experience.

well 1 yes i dc but its not because i am dumb enough to q with terrible internet its because of a random outage and thats like once in a blue moon so i get a bit frustrated play QP and wait out the suspension and i gave him many options on how to fix his complaint

Report=ban easy system if you getting hated by teammates = 100% ban trust me
