Sure you can avoid him but that nade will track you down. And people seem to hate him more then widow and genji right now

Genji counters any non tank that is out of position.
Blade is also the best ult in the game.
For someone who ISNT a Genji main you sure do love talking about him

everyone, beside beam users, but since he can have his stupid deflect up all the time since you can cancel it forget any projectile can hit you.
Nano blade i woudl ahree blade is mid to slightly bellow avrage not as bad as pharah or hanzo those are dog water and need buffs bad.

on one side yes, but with such ridicolous cd and the fact he can cancel it is rare he never have deflect up, until who play it is an idiot.
Its up 20% of the time other ability have higher up times like reaper and if you haveing that big of a problem with it play beam or anything with explosions can get him.
8s is relatively long CD. If you can play around D.Vaās DM you can play around deflect with greater ease.
Even an idiot playing D.Va can get DM back sooner than deflect.

Bastions will switch to Symmetra so fast when a Genji comes into the neighborhood.

sure, like junkrat? dude cmon, sure, I can go symm but sheās a joke to me-
not when you can manually cancel it. And Dva just eat projectiles IN FRONT of her, that deflect SEND back projectiles (that sometime are already fired so I cannot bring them back lmao) , with dva you can fire at her from multiple angles, and she have a BIG hitbox, AND her jump is ridicolous.
The ninja have little hitbox, the deflect you never get where that stupid hitbox end, and double jump and faster moves, dva boost is predictable as hell.
But I got in this forum is useless to point that SOMETHING about genji need to be nerfed.
Genji eviscerates Zen. But a lot of Genji players are so inefficient with him that they seem to believe he wins the match up even though it is probably one of the most lopsided MUs in the game.

In general (with some obvious exceptions) I think heās pretty hard for supports to deal with, however I wouldnāt say heās a hard counter. Iāll just stick with that he has more than enough match-ups where he has a kit thatās favorable, but none where it feels like you must switch to counter (like Sym vs Pharah).
No he doesnt out right win but he can 2 tap you or charge shot you. Its a nurtal fight atleast if they are both of same skill

Hanzo is a big threat to genji.
Esp without nano, hanzo can shutdown blade fast.
Their duel a good hanzo will win more than a good genji.

Genji deflect everything he does including his Ult, Bastion cant force a duel nor can he escape one, a duel is dictated by the Genji player. The Genji can just wait for turret mode being on cooldown. Genji dashing through Bastion and double jumping makes it very hard for the Bastion to track him and Bastions hitbox is so big, its basically impossible to miss for Genjis shurikens. The only reason a Genji would ever die to a Bastion, is if the Genji player is overconfident and tries to duel while he has turret mode and is hard pocketed.
He hard counters Junkrat & Bastion. Basically nothing they can do to really stop him and he can hard punish them.
Same applies to most of his interaction with Zen.
You could also make an argument for Hanzo and Ashe.
Probably a soft counter for Widow.
The rest of the heroes are largely neutral matchups. The ones that have a decent 1v1 chance canāt pressure him (he can just leave them and engage someone else). The ones that can avoid him also canāt really pressure him. Genji himself doesnāt really have any hard counters.
