If they want to buff him even when he’s strong, I say he can take that HP nerf now. He used to be punished for ulting under suboptimal conditions, now he just gets flat-out rewarded for it. It’s obnoxious and insufferable.
It would. The amount of times he gets super low but still manages to survive because of that additional health (while he’s constantly gaining some) is obnoxious. He never should have kept it.
If he can zoom around the team fight like this, he should lose some health.
I would be honest and say that you’re not looking for actual answers, you don’t think Genji is OP because you like the hero and you’d defend it regardless. Genji mains have historically been disconnected from reality and defended his kit regardless of how completely broken was - in terms of balance and literally in the things he could do from a technical standpoint.
You’re pulling every meme-worthy Genji defense here. This is why I never trust Genji mains. 
Sure, I can stop shooting Deflect!..except he can cancel it whenever he wants. He gets to control when he initiates that and makes the fight a temporary stand-still, and he controls when that ends. So, no, the “don’t shoot him” argument falls flat there.
A hero who is meta getting buffs in any way shouldn’t be a thing. He can absolutely take a 25 HP nerf with nothing in return - you do not power shift for a hero whose overall power budget is too high. That’s how you get a Sojourn situation. We do not want another Sojourn situation.
