No, double off-tank has never been a viable comp out of situation so specific they can be easily ignored. There was no meta in the entire game history without at least one main tank. Several times we even had two main tanks.
They wouldn’t, because people who actively scrim for extended periods are an extreme minority.
Making a team queue wouldn’t increase that number, because that was already tried in other games and didn’t have such effect.
Wrong, the best example is D.Va, the opposite way of Reaper. A hero that is entirely balanced around OWL, and happens to be trashed for the ladder.
D.Va being trash is pushing tank players away, as she’s the most popular hero in the class.
That’s not how it works. You refered to the playerbase as nothing more than animals.
You don’t get to 180 away from that.
Ladder is team based, with as much team work as you can expect from the common folk, even those that regularily play as 6-stacks.
No one is gonna have as much teamwork as OWL teams, as much as you wish for it.
When in OW do you have the choice for a specific hero to not be trash ?

And how is it fair if it isn’t the best players that win ? Best team =/= best players.
How would they compete then ? If they don’t, they’ll just get crushed by the OWL/Contenders teams.
