Genji dash camera issue (1.47)

Seeing how Echo’s update is set to go live in 2 days and despite the numerous bug report threads (linked below) it hasn’t been addressed or acknowledged, I’m suspecting that the issue will make it to the live servers much like 1.44’s rubberbanding issue did despite reports having been made, so I am making this report in advance.

When using dash there’s a short period where you can still move the camera as dash begins, the camera then locks, this causes a situation where you might be dashing sideways, it also sometimes causes the camera to “jitter” a bunch if you try to turn immediately after dash when this bug occurs (this is demonstrated in the video in the first thread linked below, the second dash, 0:06 in the video).

Genji’s dash has been super buggy on ptr, i saw other people reporting the same issue and i decided to do so as well, as you can see on the video below there’s something wrong with the camera at the end of the dash.

I think the same thing happened on Sigma’s release too but Genji’s dash is a bit bugged. If you dash around in training range you’ll see what I mean but whenever you’ll dash your screen will randomly rotate and move a bit throughout and after the dash seemingly randomly. Needs to be fixed before live, we can’t have another one of these bugs. Proof

Genji Dash Bug in 1.47

I know this has been reported before but the more reports the higher chance it gets fixed. Genjis dash allows partial free movement during the dash and will randomly dash him in a direction to which he did not aim at occasionally. This is heavily disorienting and makes using Genjis combos horribly inconsistent and nearly impossible.

PTR - Genji's Dash is super buggy

Basically, when you use Genji’s dash in the PTR, you will move randomly in an almost diagonal direction, sometimes you will even wiggle mid-dash. Never seen it happen in normal Overwatch client, only PTR since Echo was added. Not just me, everyone I’ve asked said that it is an issue. SO that the bug dosen’t go live unnoticed cuz if it does genji players will have to wait another week for this bug to get fixed.Prevention is better than Cure.

shame cause they just buffed genji, but now hes unusable again ;(
