I heard a while back that Overwatch was having problems running with this graphics card. is this still true? would it be better for me to buy a GTX 1660ti instead? also, would a Ryzen 5 2600 be a good processor for running the game?

We do still see some reports of issues. Often it’s related to settings being used with those cards though. You may not encounter any issues if you use a 20X0 card, but if you do then these workarounds usually resolve the issue.
I was still getting the “rendering device lost” issue with my RTX 2080 recently but it seems to be running fine now that I’m using the OverwatchTest.exe rename workaround. I’m also running a Ryzen 5 2600 (upgraded from an i5-600k) and everything is running smoothly.
