I don’t mean doing 1v1 vs tank but at least dps should have a chance to use abilities, trying to escape or forcing tank to a little get back. If a dps try to deal damage from an off angle or on a soft flank, dps pretty much dead becuse doomfist, winston or dva jumps on dps face and squish their head like a ballon, killing them and going back to his frontline while the other team just watching them. You can’t play behind your tank, shooting enemy team on direct direction and expect to win as dps. You have to flank, you have to force them to use abilities etc. Current state of tank is denying dps roles main goal. If you are a good dps player, you can still try to soft angle or flank and get some value but its 10 times harder than usual and its deniying dps carry potential so much. Average dps players are getting frustrated, scared to flank and they are not flanking that much anymore. Thats why your dps players s*cks in your matches and thats why there is so many widowmaker, ashe etc. They are trying to avoid these situations and picking more safer heroes which can play from distance far back and still can get some value while pressuring enemy in general with lesser risk
