Games other than OW

Honestly i like WD 2 gameplay but storywise i think i like WD 1 more and that it had more vigilantism mechanics, WD2 is kinda like a GTA with millenials hacking around, also some WD 2 convos are cringe af so yeahh

WD2 is massively cringe lol but I love the gameplay

How is The Isle? It’s piqued my interest, but I’ve already got so many other games that I’m unsure if I should take the plunge.

Yeah, after i finish the game im gonna continue with WD3 and see what the fuzz was about, i’ve heard good and bad things about the game

It’s getting better and better. They just released an all new map for Evrima (Gateway), we have some new dinos and more coming (Herrera, Rex, Dilo, Diabloceratops).

We currently have:
Carnos
Deino (croc)
Carnotaurus
Ptera
Troodon
Omniraptor
Ceratosaurus

Herbies
Stegosaurus
Dryosaurus
Tenontosaurus
Hypsilophodon
Pachycephalosaurus

Omnis
Beipi (danger duck)
Gali

All currently in game.

Lots more currently in dev. They’re transitioning to UE5. It’s going quite well.

Bad things are… eh. I mean some issues with stam regen being slow rn. But the game itself runs very good (sort of demanding but im not sure im on a 4070ti so its smooth for me.)

The lead dev is still kind of an ego nerd… but development has picked up a lot.

There are both public and custom community servers.

It’s absolutely gorgeous. Can be kind of hard to pick up and learn (IE: finding food as a juvie carno).

Players are like any other community. Some are total pvp/CoD nerds and KoS. Others are very nice/inclusive.

Stability is good/decent.

I bought it, kinda enjoyed, but as I do with every game I touch, I dropped it after like 15-20 hours. I am so consistent with dropping games at 20hrs

Not having a protagonist was the worst decision they could have made

Heh same, then come back months after and dont remember a single thing on how i got up till that point and having to restart the story

Overwatch is pretty much the only multiplayer shooter game I play; I’m not hardcore enough for Tribes/Quake etc and COD/Halo/Gears/Apex feel too slow.

Arknights is my other main game, and I’ve been playing the hell out of Into The Breach lately. Also cycle between XCOM, Stellaris and Civ VI.

Other than those I play a lot, but mostly puzzle, strategy, roguelikes and RPGs.

Best game I’ve played in the past year is Baldur’s Gate III, and the one I’m most looking forward to is HADES II.

How is Civ VI compared to V?

Pretty good but only if you have all the DLCs, which can be obtained for 25 ish usd when in sale

Ghost of Tsushima :face_exhaling::ok_hand:

I love souls games. Or anything with a good story, engaging gameplay and nice visuals/sound.
Other than souls games, off the top of my head:
Control, horizon forbidden west, even doki doki literature club. So many more XD

As of this moment:
My mmo is FFXIV. My single player adventure kinda thing is Elden Ring. And Overwatch my competitive shooter ^^

Ah lets see lately ive been playing Palia, Dead by Daylight, Dont starve together, occasionally revisiting valheim or Skyrim with some FFXIV and Destiny 2 here and there.

So many good games listed in here, definitely some people here with good taste.

Monster hunter world*
Deep rock galactic*
Risk of rain 2*
Elite dangerous
Warframe*
Vampire survivors
Dark souls*
Dead space
Destiny 2 (Kind of wish I could still play this)

*=Still play it or kind of want to start again

Sad not to see any mentions yet of Subnautica, StarCraft 2, The long dark, or Dwarf fortress.

Also, to the one person that mentioned League

Don’t blame you. Recently started trying it and, I don’t know about outright tilt, but there’s absolutely some frustrating things in that game, teammates often end up being high on the list. I’m still stuck in pre-ranked draft picks, takes so long to unlock ranked.

Going through Nier atm and occasionally play Star Wars battlefront 2 and DBD. Star Wars is refreshing since it’s one of the last shooters that doesn’t use a matchmaker and just puts random players in a lobby.

Mario wonder, Final fantasy 7 rebirth, persona 3 reload, and tekken are soon so OW gonna be on the back burner for a bit

Civ VI feels like it has more depth but it does well to expand on it as the game goes on rather than overwhelm you and is more balanced overall; in V science was king so turtling and rushing science was always best. In VI, Production is stronger but not so much stronger that playing tall is still viable.

some of the changes are annoying to get used to like the art style and builder charges (builders can only build X improvements, but do so instantly; can increase X with some Wonders or traits) but I appreciated them over time, same way people hated the removal of Doomstacking in V but it makes the game better.

I think vanilla Civ VI is worse than V and especially V with DLCs, but with DLCs VI is better.

Interesting. I only just started playing CiV 5 last year and mostly just played with only domination to win on so I could enjoy it a bit more. Had the DLC’s for it, like the art style… so maybe I won’t mind VI.

I play a wide range of games mostly depending on mood, I genuinely love Ow so ill never stop playing it but i do experience burnout more often then not

the games i do play when not on ow
Valorant
Cod mw3
Cult of the lamb
Apocalypse party
Crab champions
Risk of rain 2 Diablo 4 Valorant Paladins Apex Exoprimal Deep rock galactic
Battle shapers WoW Warframe Blade & soul And dead by daylight. haha i just play a lot of things probably due to how bored i get…it also depends on whether i have friends or if anyone wants to play with me since that affects my mood

Godhand

Ninja giaden black

Vagrant story

Final fantasy tactics

Armored core

Only the best in my house.

As far as multiplayer games go, Titanfall 2 and Team Fortress 2. Combat Masters (mobile port of a COD clone) has been fun for the last couple of days.
