Since the new game mode is all about capping points… I noticed theres no overtime.
Wave spawning is not in effect on overtime.
Thus even on the last point, since no overtime, wave spawn is in effect and thats why those last points last extra long and sometimes feel un natural.
Solution:
Just like in 2cp, include OT that should cut off wave spawning.
Currently making the transition to Deadlock, but play time to time. Just noticed and just offering to help.
You just do what most good players are doing. Do not push to cap points A or E (unless it is snowballed to an easy win).
Something they highlighted in the update and want to find a way to disincentivise that strat.
Interesting to see how long before theories are made up about Deadlock.
edit - just looked, already threads on Steam crying about match making. Didn’t take people long. (general trend in gamers these days unable to process people just being better).
That aside, I tried it. Looked good, played fine, I just found it pretty boring (probably a me not really enjoying mobas thing). Hopefully it does alright, can’t see it taking the world by storm though.
