as someone who has smurfed (mainly to play with friends) it really isn’t very fun to basically stomp every game with little to no effort, and I really don’t try to, I just want to have fun with my friends

QP doesnt replace leavers anymore, so you’re goin 4v5 for 5mins.
What’s the reason for ANYONE else on that team to stay in the game?

It’s one of two games my wife and I play together, sunk cost fallacy, and those occasional dopamine hits when silly strats pay off.

I disagree with all these points.
I feel like matchmaking is the tightest and most easily visible it’s ever been.
I think you can play any hero in most situations and still expect to do well if you’re good enough, but there are times where it isn’t smart.
I’m having more close games than ever (QP and GM comp).
There are rewards for staying in steamroll lobbies. You get both XP and progress toward challenges.
The game has always expected you to swap to counter throughout the match. Always.
You would be objectively wrong. The company has already addressed this a long time ago. They loosened the requirements for making groups. They claim they loosened the restrictions so friends of vastly differing skill levels can play with each other.

Again: What game are you playing? This is another issue Blizzard has addressed and stomps are happening more frequently and are kind of intentional.
If you can spend money to get the rewards it isn’t a reward. It’s a distraction to keep simple minds occupied.

tracer is worth playing again. wasn’t true for a long time. I take what i can get. You never know when she will no longer be worth playing over lets say widow as nothing dies.
it actually feels like sometimes that the match hinges on my Performance which does feel nice ngl. Sadly to often games get uneccessary hard when people start going for the dumb strats but these are beatable to.
I am too sometimes going for the cheese, if i feel like my opponents deserve it.
