Game copyright is behind

A company can be dissolved.

You can if you are in a country that doesnt honor US copyright laws. Thats how there are so many private wow servers

Countries tend to honour each others copyrights to avoid mutual retaliation with trade barriers.

They might tend to, but that doesnt mean every country in the world honors them. there are tons of private wow servers getting away with it due to this

A corporation, which is immortal.

Bigest WoW Vanilla private servers were closed and admins sue, but the irony they were hire to help/make WoW classic later.

Theres Kanezaka and the Hanzo skin though

jesus wyoming who knew you did law and stuff. good for you!

I don’t, but I am a graphic designer by trade and part of being a graphic designer is understanding how copyrights, trademarks, and patents work to some extent.

awesome dude! also, your really close to 30k posts

Dude, just use public domain figures. That’s what I did for my Wattpad masterpiece “Napoleon vs. Bigfoot.” Anything is possible as long as you lead with The following is a work of fiction, and any resemblance to events or persons living or deceased is entirely coincidental followed immediately by Inspired by true events.

Are real people public domain characters?

Surely, a defamation attorney’s four favourite words.

still lots of servers out there. The lights hope was the biggest when classic dropped, they could have stayed open too but got they were tired of running it.

i believe Nost was hosed in France?? they do honor US copy rights but places like Russia and eastern Europe do not

I don’t know where it was host but they just wanted the same exp when lich king or cata dropped, they had to deal with copyright I guess. Western europe got more cultural protection law than east.
