I’ve had the freezing issue as well where alt + tab won’t get you out of the blackscreen. I managed to sign out of my Windows account to restart the game but I noticed that right before my game froze I could hear voice chat when I usually turn voice volume down to 0.
I looked at my settings and volume was still set at zero but I could hear my teammates as if volume was set on full. A minute later my game froze.
