Found this accidentally in a DM while playing Junkrat. Dva can’t dm things that bounce off of her anymore. She CAN, however, still eat things that stuck to someone else and are dropping.

If junkrat attacks collide with enemy player they do not bounce, wtf? This might be a case for Ashe’s dynamite, but that’s it!

You can only eat things that haven’t touched anything yet. Otherwise you could eat the mines off the floor.
Not true. You used to be able to eat anything falling, but the second mines or dynamite make contact with mech they no longer count and can’t be eaten.
Ergo, touched something. Be it teammate, or a wall you can’t eat that object anymore.
The only situation I can think of is when someone sticks Reaper with either pulse bomb or sticky nades and he uses Wraith to get it off.
If it was yourself, you could before. That’s the point. It’s a bug.

You can’t eat mines off the floor, i’ve tested.
Like you can’t eat a dynamite off the floor (before it blows up).
I haven’t noticed it to ever be possible to eat the mines if they’ve already collided with anything. Like you can’t a grav after it hits a surface.

Grenades. Those are the same grenades he shoots but with less damage. They’re projectiles, not items like the mines and ashe’s dynamite.
What I’m trying to respond to is the pervious person who said “dva cannot delete projectiles that have bounced off of players or walls”, proving them either wrong or that there is an inconsistency, because Junkrats death grenades from his passive can still be deleted even after they touch walls or the ground.
Unless the person is trying to say “ITEMS that have touched players or walls can no longer be deleted”.
Which… I guess that may be true, another example (sort of) being meis ult- maybe it’s considered an “item” and once it touches ground that’s why it can no longer be deleted.

They are grenades.
You can’t delete throwable items after they touch a wall, a player or the floor. Such as junkrat’s mines, trap, ana’s nade, sym turrets, torbjorn turret and ashe’s dynamite.
Along with ramattra’s vortex before it touches the ground, the hanzo dragon before the dragon appears (or before the arrow of it hits a wall), the grav before it hits the floor, mei’s blizzard before it hits the floor…
Junkrat’s grenades (which never turn into item’s from projectiles) can be eaten, because they’re ammo, not items.
Interestingly you can’t delete sym turret, torb turret, or Junkrat trap either, even before they touch anything
Which to me implies Junkrats trap is considered more of a “turret” than an “item”
I bet hogs trap works the same way

At lest at some point you could, but i guess the 3 got changed to not be “edible”
I’m 1000% sure the answer is no but I’m suddenly curious if dva can eat Winston’s barrier when it’s first deployed since he drops it…

You mean like Junkrat stuck a mine on the Meka, and when activating DM, it didn’t go away?
Mines don’t stick to people, they bounce off. Before, if a mine bounced off Dva she could eat it before it hit the ground. Now she can’t
