I already have to be there to get golden guns. I don’t want to have to listen to the shrieking.

By making it so game chat is mandatory to be in comp games? It shouldnt be hard to do they dont need to have a mic just be in voice channel

nobody wants to talk to some sour-puss players

why do I need to hear this?

No.

I explicitly made the choice not to be in voice chat for a reason. Besides the rampant toxicity, you have nothing valuable to say when I need to be able to see and hear to focus on the game.

In fact, my favorite method before OW2 dropped was to have voice chat join enabled but put the volume at zero. No one hears me, I don’t hear them, and pompous fools who think they’re some kind of ringleader are convinced I care about their opinions.

Thank the toxic nature of OW1 and I assume OW2 for that. I’m not going into queue for 5 minutes, only to get berated for 10 more minutes. So, thank those people for why I don’t go into voice.

Yup… I sure want YOU being able to tell me these important game tactics straight into my earholes.

U can atleast here the ana tell u ur not in her sight or the tank let you know hes gonna do this or that im not saying you have to talk its actually best with 2 or 3 on mic but atleast all 5 to be in chat to hear the shot callers

Group with friends then, join a community that has a looking for group channel. If hardcore communication and co-ordination is something you want it’s best to go for a group you know

Ha, no. Text chat was a mistake as is. I don’t need some xqc wannabe telling me to swap off Brig because the enemy team is steamrolling us through no fault of our own.

Get some friends and play with them.

They’d probably just mute you lol

I didnt say hardcore i just said for everyone to be in channel even if theres 1 person on mic just so everyone can hear callouts

I’d just mute everyone and use my non-mic headphones. :moyai:

Theoretically, but the instances of helpful callouts VS the instances of people yelling garbage into my ear are hopelessly skewed to the latter.

Nothing would change. We’d still mute you and turn off our mics. If we even have a mic.
