Nah. I’ll always listen, and I will make a call out if me or another team member is in immediate danger but I usually just keep my talk between my three stack. Sorry but I perform much better like this. I’m a very shy person and the pressure to talk makes me nervous and I WILL perform worse.
force does makes sense because they are hearing you talk and you are making an effort to mute someone .
How can they hear you when they mute you?
If u want a force team chat, then it makes no sense if you can mute eachother…

Say you mute me… i can talk A to Z… but u wont hear me… If i mute you, i dont hear a word u say…

This, plus if they do force it you can always just set your headset down and not have to deal with this.
Please no, I complete lost my hope of verbal conversation with people from North America, unless you speak like a native they are likely to ignore the match just for make fun of you, this happens so often that I sincerely believe that people with education are the minority.
Funny enough, this doesn’t happen with people from Europe, I guess that they are exposed to a lot of cultures and language accent aren’t a thing for them.
Then people who want to talk to their friends will use Discord and mute everyone in team chat.
When people don’t want to communicate or hear comms you can’t do anything against it.
Plenty of games did this and it works wonder. Again not trying to be rude to the people who disagree but if you do not want to chat because the way someone sounds is on you but the option is there to mute. It’s a team base, communicate with the team.
That way the person who does not want to talk to the team have to use something else outside of native support. Putting that extra level of a hassle for “some” would go a long way.
