Flashpoint is awful... please redesign or remove

Yes.

see what I said about “high mobility characters”… :man_facepalming:

Not really a great answer to “I don’t have fun”.

“actually you’re not supposed to have fun”

My opinion, i like the potential 5 points, but i think it should be best 2of3 not 3of5…

“Just don’t say i didn’t warn you!”

I mean the mode is literally KotH except instead of having a break between rounds in spawn room you just run to the next point manually. There is no other tangible difference in terms of gameplay between it and KotH.

So that’s why I don’t like flashpoint.

Basically KOTH’s bigger sibling. I already despise that gamemode in the first place. Especially Oasis. Garbage map.

Yeah, fly and go capture a point laddie, cause you’re clearly a newbie that can’t

That’s because people run around the map going in 1v5 like chickens with their heads cut off. If people actually grouped and took team fights as a team, there’d be much less running aimlessly and other nonsense.

It’s the same problem with Push, people just don’t know how to play the mode so they do stupid nonsense instead, which just makes the game feel awful.

They need to do something worse so you’d love the previous versions of bad Kappa =)

whatever helps you cope with daddy leaving you <3

Disagree. Running to an objective isn’t hard to comprehend. Even dying in a coordinated team fight feels like straight cancer because the run back is atrocious.

yeah this it’s insufferable, it’s a walking simulator… 5v5 and new modes are awful, I’m sorry anubis/hanamura/volskaya was peak overwatch compared to this garbage

I’m playing this game less and less and I don’t miss it one bit, I miss old overwatch tho

Get a lifeweaver and have him pull you from spawn.

It’s fun tbh. You need to be running a Lucio or Sym to be able to get around the map fast enough. Which is fine for me as a Lucio main

Lol OP you are so wrong

Flashpoint is great, a million times better than “shoot the choke” 2CP

Nah, you people are miserable, lol. I’m seeing people say they want 2CP back after complaining so much about it, that they even removed it from professional play for most tournaments.

Flashpoint is fun. The maps are interesting, it sounds like you’re facing a skill issue and rather than adjust, you want to cry until it’s removed from play, then complain, then uninstall when it’s only escort and control. Classic OW community. I see why Blizzard doesn’t like listening to it’s own community, you are all bipolar.

Because the answer to “I don’t have fun” is “then stop doing it”.

Stop playing the mode? That’s what they’re doing:

I literally leave every single flashpoint game I get.

What’s your point?

The point was about you saying the answer was not great. The point you missed was, that if you don’t like playing a game then stop playing it.

If you insist on continuing playing the game you have two options. You are free to behave like a child and leave “every single game”. Or you can be an emotionally mature adult and get good at flashpoint.

But they only don’t like playing Flashpoint. So they follow your wise advice already. They don’t like it, so they stop playing it and go next :woman_shrugging:

I think the mode is pretty good, more so as I get to know the maps. If you’re someone who staggers a lot and don’t like the occasional 1v1 engagement, or prefers like the team vs team death ball choke battles, you’re probably going to have bad time. If you can learn the layout quickly and the vital health packs and flank routes, it’s not that bad. It’s basically just control but they don’t tell you to huddle up and reselect heroes between objectives, you have to make that decision on the go. This mode feels like a litmus test for the average OW player, to figure out who is or isn’t a team player.
