It will be complete unplayable nonsense as is. Every tank has ridiculous ult charge speed on top of much higher health, cc resistance and utility.
Additional global 25% buff to tank damage was very poorly thought out. Sigma damage is throguh the roof and he has faster ult charge, Orisa now has global damage reduction for the team which with higher survivability, cc reduction and more armor makes tanks invincible. During tournament tanks just started contesting becaue they are unstoppable and take ages to kill.
And what bugs me is: tanks all recieved significant buffs to survivability and utility and as a trade off got their damage reduced. Then tanks started whinig ‘everyone ignores us and runs past us’ and the damage got brought back with faster ult charge which was ridiculous. I could PD 3 once and get 50% ult charge. ULT THAT BLINDS YOU!
And tank mains, everyone ignored you because you tried playing old OW with new tanks. Tanks were supposed to be the setup players in this patch not brawlers.
I get that Rein and Winston may have struggled a bit but why in the hell you needed to revert damge cut for EVERYONE?! Did you just wing it? What happened to original idea of the tradeoff? Who thought it was a good idea to buff both damage and ult charge for tanks that are now more consistent and survivable? Do you realise that tanks are much more durable now and have much faster ults now because their uptime is much higher? How is this fair. Those tanks are unstoppable and it feels like old tanks on steroids. No inital tradeoff that killed whole idea. This patch is not even close to great, it is horrible and unpleasant for evryone who is not playing tanks or dps that can survive encounter with tanks
