It’s been said once, its going to get said again. Went from 2650 down to 2350, not placing above 6th place, and most games going 3 kills 13 deaths in FFA deathmatch. Which I could accept, if I was playing horrible. But there is an inherent issue with headshotting someone twice from behind at 1 foot away as a Reaper(getting the hitmarker sound), and neither of it registering, only for that same person to spin around and kill you at full health with a flash grenade, because neither of his other shots are showing.
Or tossing a junk concussion mine into a torbjorn and dealing 10 damage when he isn’t enraged, or a Reaper hitting 4 shots and not recovering any health, despite being at half health already.
The amount of times I’ve been killed by flash grenades from full, or a body shot from a hanzo(again at full health) is asinine. Not that they shouldn’t kill me, but when you watch the replay and see them shooting off 3 arrows when on your screen they only fired one, there’s a huge issue.
So instead of buffing character X, or nerfing character Y, fix the biggest problem with your game. The server response time. I’d rather know I’m getting killed by better players than killed by people who look at my character model like I’m standing still(even when on my screen, I’m not).
It sounds like a lot of whining, and maybe it is. But its been an issue now since launch. You have US East servers for major patches, how about putting them up full time instead of having to connect to Chicago? I get 81 ms latency with Chicago, and 47 with US East… I’m sure I’m not the only one.
