Today I played 14 QP games, I’ve won 1… 1!!!
Lost 8 straight games, getting completely annihilated, it’s not even a game! Won 1, and then got destroyed 5 straight games!
This game is a joke! Not in any game can you lose 8 straight games especially in the way I lose! I’ll say it again - I won 1 game out of 14, and every game has been as uneven as can be! My team is like bronze 5 against top500 in comparison.
Yesterday I won 3 straight games in competitive, ranked up from platinum 2 to platinum 1, then lost 8 straight games, almost went down to platinum 4 before I won 1.
Was I ever compensated for being on a losing trend? Not even close!
And then see that the devs are going to try 6v6 with the recent tank buffs is beyond delusional! What do you think 6v6 will look like with 2 tanks with massive hp pools, armour, head shot reduction, knock back reduction, cc reduction and just as much damage as a dps?
FIX WHAT’S IMPORTANT FIRST!!! FIX YOUR MATCHMAKING IN BOTH QP AND COMPETITIVE, IT CLEARLY DOESN’T WORK!!!

6v6 did not have all those passives and tank buffs. Tanks were individually weaker.
They won’t be able to. I believe they are trying their best to fix the matchmaker, but that’s not the real problem. The problem is the lack of individual impact. It doesn’t matter if you play well or poorly; unless the skill gap is significant(GM vs Bronze), you’re always at the mercy of four strangers called teammates.
If you are on a losing trend you will be matched with players more likely to win, and vice versa if you’r on a winning trend!

6v6 back then didn’t, now in season 13, they will try 6v6 again on trial, and they haven’t said anything about changes in classes! So again, why comment if you don’t know what you are talking about?
They will, if they stopped using their stupid statistic algorithm, hidden mmr and so on.
OW2 is well known to have the worst matchmaking system out of all “larger” games!
Stop hiding the rank and mmr in the lobbies, show every players rank and mmr in the lobby, that way they can’t get away with the uneven matchmaking, because people would see how uneven it really is!
The match maker is donezo. No one can save it - it beyond utter craziness that quick play games are more difficult than comp games.
If que quick play - I get places against Top 500 rein, Top 500 Brig/Bap, Top 500 genji.
While I have that reaper and Kiri in default skin who spam hello.
Queing comp is less painful but painful none the lesss. Winning comp games is like rollling a dice, on Monday I win, sure I am going to lose on Tuesday. You can watch you replays wins and losses comes in waves regardless of how much you sweat. At the end it will place you against a team that will totally destroy you.
Dafran was quieng quick play yesterday 6:00 pm pst time and he was getting demolished on his tracer. He also said that quick play is crazy. You can watch his vid if it is up.

In 10hrs playtime, I won 5 games, never 2 games in a row. I lost 24 games!
And getting completely annihilated in every game! I could be top500, I would still not be able to win against the extreme team diffs!!
24 losses in 29 games, that is 17% winrate!!
But no, matchmaking works so great!
Devs are completely delusional, they deserved that no bonus payout!
I recently went 6-19, next day was 3-15. Nothing but stomps. Both qp and comp. Engagement based matchmaking should be illegal just like loot boxes. There’s an illusion of all matches being winnable but we have significant less influence than we know. If the hood on matchmaking were lifted, I think there’s real potential for class action lawsuits and this goes for MANY modern competitive games.
If you dont have 2 decent friends playing as DPS, you cant expect anything but getting stomped. Thats my experience since season 9’s matchmaking reworks.
That I already know! I am plat 1 support, duoing with a friend who was masters 1 dps before soft reset, He is diamond 3 or 4 now.
He plays on a plat 1 dps account with me, we get lobbies where he gets hard diffed by each and every one in the enemy team… We are at best around 50/50 in competitive on average at least in high plat/low diamond lobbies. But last season we were forced down from plat 1 to plat 5, and worked ourselves back up to plat 1 this season…
Boosted? I have 3 accounts of which I maintain around plat 2 to diamond 4 as support!
And dps from gold 2 to plat 5, where I use one account to duo with a friend as support, and one where I play dps and he plays support, and one that I only play solo on…

First of all learn to read before you answer - He was masters 1 before soft reset, he is mid diamond now, I was diamond 4 before soft reset, now I am plat 1…
But again, you’re not interested in discussing the topic of matchmaking being bad in first of all QP, and second of all in competitive!
You’re only coping mechanism is saying that I am being boosted, disregarding that I solo que 90% of the time, you haven’t even said a word about the matchmaking system, because again, you’re not interested in that, you’re only focus is being toxic against!
You however are a part of the worst problem with this game, the toxic community!
You can come back when you learned to discuss the matchmaking system in a civilized way which is this threads topic, but until then, you’re nothing but a toxic troll!
