i was told to submit my complaints to the forums so the devs can see it, so here’s what i said, word for word. i hope you all can enjoy my rage. “It’s the fact that you guys are consistently nerfing MERCY. That’s the problem. I don’t know what genius at Blizzard HQ thought that she needed a nerf to her healing WHICH IS THE WORST! IT;'S THJE WORST!!! and someone… someone said “yeah… she needs to be nerfed. that’ll do it.” NO. because last season… season ONE! she had flash heal and did STILL (not a good word i cant post on here) SHE WAS STILL (not a good word again but it starts with s and ends with hit) DOG BUTT! she couldn’t even outheal WINSTON PRIMARY IN HER UUUUULT! IN HER ULTIMMATE!! YOU KNOW THE ABILITRY THAT YOU SPEND ALL GAME CHARGING BECAUSE ITS SUPPOSED TO BE REALLY GOOD? IT CAN’T OUTHEAL WINSTON PRIMARY FIRE. AND SOMEONE AT BLIZZARD HQ WAS LIKE “HMM.. yeah lets nerf her.” I CANT BELIEVE IT! I CANT! BELIEVE IT! WHOEVER DECIDED TO NERF MERCY NEEDS TO BE FIRED . LIKE GENUINELY.. FIRED! CANNED. TOSSED OUT! For real though, we all should know they’re going to tweak/fix her up. Mercy Mafia is crying enough they can’t ignore it.
(Also the only community the OW team listens to is the streamers/league players, not the general playerbase.)
joxxi, it feels that bad… it feels so bad, its horrible. i have 800 hours on mercy. thats 800 hours of muscle memory, excluding the s3 ga nerfs from a long long time ago, that im never going to get used to it. not only is mercy fat now, shes fat and USELESS. flash heal doesn’t flash heal fast enough for it to have any value on low hp targets, so most of the time im either missing it (skill issue asf im coping) or im flashing a more-than-half hp target expecting burst damage just for it to not heal that much because its registering them as more-than-half instead of less-than-half because i flashed before they took the burst. joxxi… it is that serious for me… mercy is not just a character in a video game, shes my whole entire life (troll)

Believe me I know…I know I’m a Mercy main too I see and hear you 
. She is also my life, I own every, single, skin, my living room is all wall scrolls of her, she’s my wallpaper, everything, (NOT troll). BUT first handful of games I was definitely not impressed either and felt as slow as Zen. But I kept working on adapting and I’m still slayin and winnin in comp, so I believe in you
(Let’s just breathe, sit back, and remember the ol’ days when Mercy didn’t even have a super jump or rez as a normal ability. So it could be worse, but hopefully not )

what about when tracer good, or sojourn? what about when mauga came out and broke the game? why is it only mercy players that have to suffer? also, she wasn’t good last season, and none of yall were saying jack about her then.,.. she also had her flashheal, so whats the difference? why is it that when mercy players voice their opinions about mercy, we’re all told to shut up and keep our mouths closed, but when its someone else complaining that their favorite hero is weak, they’re praised and agreed with? maybe its bc yall know a majority of mercy players are women, but im afraid that yall aint ready for that type of conversation here.
Do you think they actually care if you quit? There are so many alt accounts in this game losing one player over a Mercy update won’t affect them.

I had to deal with the bs mass rez and moth meta in OW1, the constant boosted Mercy mains getting boosted by cheating ximmers, and 15+ seasons of Sojourn with a Mercy pocket every game In OW2.
My hatred for Mercy runs deep and…
honestly the healing adjustments are whatever because at least FH is basekit, her healing sucks ordinarily which blows, but at least FH can pick up SOME of the slack.
the GA nerf though? completely unwarranted, completely stupid, and not even close to an overreaction. this nerf specifically by design is doggie doo doo because it forces you as the mercy to pick divine momentum 100% of the time, while also being forced to obtain both perks slower because of the healing adjustments made to her.
why would we make FH basekit to make her actually viable, just to slaughter her playerbase’s muscle memory for the 90th time, just to end up with the same exact issue as before? at this point it’s not even JUST about mercy, this goes for all heroes. how many more times do we as individuals have to deal with this lead game balancing that ultimately just pushes hero identity further into the gutter? hero identity is what made this game what it is.
also keep in mind not every mercy hate post is misogynistic or ties to misogyny. some anti-mercy players are misogynistic yeah, but just because someone dislikes the character, doesn’t indicate they hate women nor that they hate mercy BECAUSE women play her.
I didn’t say you have to quit, but the uninstall button is right there. After the Mercy nerf, she’s still getting picked every match in Plat–Diamond. So maybe it’s not Mercy… maybe it’s just you.
I’m glad she’s easier to shoot now. More pesky than Sombra sometimes (at my rank).

I wish people praised and agreed with me when my favorite hero is weak. These are very selfish individuals that will not rest until the game is low skill enough for them to have fun.

Mercy Mains meet Sombra mains who have suffered worse
making mercy slower doesn’t mean the skill ceiling is higher. first, it’s mercy being too fast, then its her rez being too good, then its because she can damage boost behind walls, now its because shes impossible to shoot when she’s flying. people hate mercy when shes good, when shes bad, or when shes in between. they’ll hate mercy no matter what, so what’s the bottom line? if it was any other character, someone like tracer, no one would have any problems with the tracer mains complaining – unless it’s mercy. so what’s the common denominator?
