Having an ability as powerful as rez as an ability caused and is causing so much more toxicity than having a team wipe taken away. Think about it. When mercy takes away your super skilled kill now is worse than when you killed a team by just pressing Q. The rework is when mercy mains started being dragged through the dirt and still are from other players. 5 man rez was less frustrating than taking a kill away every 30 seconds.
