soldier just cause people told me he was the most prototypical shooter and thats where i would probably feel most comfortable having played shooters before…
I instantly jumped on Hanzo as I love archery in RL. Changed my mind after first few minutes in training room. My first main ended up Moira.
P.S.: I never finished tutorial xD

I started with the tutorial - so Soldier.
And then went to practice range and tryed every single hero from left to right. Followed by looking at all the skins and emotes in the gallery
Follwed by - I can’t remember what is the first hero i played in the game, I just remember trying different things, each match new hero and such.
I think D.va was the first I stuck with for a while, and only because she gave me a double life, and I died a bunch at the beginning lul. I just wanted to be alive for a bit longer X)

Hah we all were noobs. This is more embarrassing but when I first played Ana for some reason I thought you couldn’t use her primary fire to heal. So I literally only used nade. Someone wanted healing and I was like “wait a moment”. And I was like wow she is not a good healer. Ana main btw. Ah but oh well.

by that I mean she is the hardest hero to get use of. Her hack only works if you have other people near you unless it is like a tracer
Oh pliz, when I first played Symetra (the old version where teleport was her ult) I though you had to place the TP twice, so I was like “I should place my first TP in spawn so my team can get to point faster after respawning, I am a genius”
And then I place it in spawn, and see another TP pop next to it and my first thought was (I kid you not): “Oh no, I pressed Q twice in the same location on accident”

Started with lucio, then one tricked mercy until level 30
Hah it’s fine. We were all noobs once. And yah my
Genji was also pretty bad. Mained him for one day because he looked cool and I was like “ok this is wrong”. Ah but oh well now i love to play Ana. (Well sort of because my controller now has stick shift, my headset broke, and my wifi Can sometimes get to 600 ping) but that’s a story for another time.
I played mercy, i was gonna play genji but someone locked him faster than me, and we needed a healer
I know right?! I didn’t play when she was at that version. But seriously when I saw she had that I’m like where should you put that? Hah oh well we all make mistakes. Funny ones mostly.

Only played overwatch because of Sombra, she is a pretty cool hero. sucked super hard with her because she actually required a lot of skill to be useful (we are talking about the prework infinite invis sombra here) so tried to learn the game playing tracer instead

yeh it was lol. He was easy to play, and spamming rockets is fun.
I tried genji first after seeing him in a gameplay video. Super didn’t work out.

Genji, I looked at his lore before buying the game and I started playing him as I could relate to the character.

It was D.va cause a whole bunch of us were playing for the first time and I wanted to troll them with the giant pink mech… wasn’t working at first because I thought her Boosters kept her on the ground

Lucio. My very first match with him was at Hanamura, in Defense, IIRC.
I also believed, at the time, I’d have to shoot to heal my teammates until I realized his healing was an AoE.
