A New Lore just dropped and now we have some Lore about Fika, also known as Jetpack Cat:

Brig built her Jetpack and explains that Mitzi was not chosen for the Jetpack Cat role because Mitzi is too lazy 
It still doesnt explain how Jetpack Cat is able to fly the Jetpack. Fika has to be some kind of genetically-enhanced intelligent animal like Hammond or Winston.
Im sure more will be released in a later date 
it would be funny if jetpack cat somehow encountered doomfist randomly and accidentally and started training martial art with him lol both unaware of each other affiliations lol.

as for Fika being inteligent she does just seam to be a stray Birgitta picked up at gebralta or something⊠maybe she is some escaped experimetnal animal not imposible⊠they have a lot of possibilities to expand her backgroundâŠ
it would be kinda cool if a lot of it was kinda shown from fikas perspectiv as the secretive life of a cat⊠doing her own thing often way from her ownerâŠ. going on small adventuresâŠ
like they could totally play with the art style doing it all naive to sort of mirror Fikas very catty view of the world⊠hell if they really wanna be accurate limit the color palette lol since cat see a limited range of colors lol then again they dont do that in game lol and again its fully possible she is an experimental animal that maybe somehow also accidentally snuck into winstons escape pod thing⊠maybe? its not imposible.. or she may be an old experiment moira trew away or a decentant from a run away experient that had a litter⊠who knows maybe she as clever little sibling out thereâŠ
there is a whole wide vista of possible jetpack cat lore⊠i hope they develope it more soonâŠ

I tell myself now that Brigs freaky face in Fikas lore drop is cause of Fikaâs POV (but really its just Ai-generated distortion).
So much potential with Jetpack Catâs history 
Just heard an interesting voice interaction with Winston.
Winston is talking to Fika and he says âYou remind me of a cat I once knew at the Lunar Colony. I hope you can meet him one day.â What if that cat was Fikaâs sibling! 
Some people are speculating that the cat could have get into Juno and Mei ship while they were visiting Lijiang Tower, and meeting with Lucheng CEO. There was something called âProject : Star Companionâ with a memorial of pets from this project. Could this project still be on? And some animals being kept in some lab/farm there? Who knows..
And Fika was found near the landing bay, hence this speculation.
Which is a okay speculation I guess, and iâd rather have that than just a random super intelligent cat spawning at the base for no reason, you know?
Thats really interesting! That sounds even more plausible. And yes, a random intelligent cat stray showing up at Gibraltar, who has the awesome ability to fly a jetpack, doesnt make a lot of sense! There just has to be more to Fikaâs backgroundâŠ
