Mercy is fine. And I’m looking forward to the 60HPS Valk buff even though she didn’t really need it

Oh dear lord. The power of a flight Mercy getting out of battles and using infinite pistol rounds.
As much as I like playing as Mercy this change does seem pretty OP when you could quickly tether nearby teammates with the heal/damage beam, or get quick picks as a Battle Mercy rushing in to take out a 200hp hero.

She’s not favoured by the meta at the moment 
that’s simply it. when burst healing and tanks are so prevalent,Mercy isn’t gonna shine.

The power could be adjusted after the change. Even with some nerfs, it would still be FUN!
…or at least more fun than what Resurrect has become.
Well it just took one nerf to take her from S to like D tier, so I don’t really think it’s just “not her meta”
Don’t forget lowest pick rate healer in Diamond+ ranks to go with that miserable win rate.

Yeah well,Ana had really low stats as well when Mercy was the meta.
It’s called a meta change. Mercy will have her time to shine some day.
And then pros will clamor for another Mercy nerf because they can’t stand her being meta
The problem was that she was THE meta. Across all ranks. And even pro play. She was a problem and needed nerfs

See what happens if you take away 17% of any other support’s healing, and I don’t mean healing by just one ability. I mean 17% of ALL of their healing. I bet the result would be the same.

Yes that was an issue, but pros also don’t want a “low skill” hero being meta, which is why you see people like effect having mental breakdowns over the fact that brig is meta. And, as always, the devs will cave in to the pro players because they want to keep them appeased.
The problem with Brig is that she single-handedly made burst damage and burst healing relevant. And she is the soul of GOATs meta. Which was playing quite a lot in the world cup.
And if the devs actually caved in to the pro players,we wouldn’t have Brig and Genji/Tracer would probably have gotten buffs.

You do know that teams have “Tracer specialists”,right? Some might have complained but I’m pretty sure others wouldn’t have minded Tracer being meta more

Many pros complained about Tracer, if you don’t believe me then that’s on you.
I’ve literally been posting constructive and new Mercy concept posts for the past year.
I’m mostly just a bit disappointed only a handful of Mercy posters do the same.

He’s right though 
The devs clearly don’t want anything to do with Mass Rez and they said multiple times they won’t revert her(and we all know what that means),but people still keep suggesting a rework for Mercy which has Mass Rez.
EDIT: And besides,one of the major OW YouTube channels claimed the devs are done with reworks. for now anyway.
