"Experience Optimization Matchmaking" is so obvious

If that were the case, sure. But I’m not referring to it being harder. I’m talking about absolute domination. The equivalent of a Bronze Lobby being thrown against Diamond or GM+. Like that kind of difficulty.

Additionally, you would expect in a balanced match, that you wouldn’t stomp, nor would the enemy. A balanced match has both you and the enemy team roughly on equal footing. Unfortunately that isn’t the case in Overwatch.

You might start out on equal footing, but win a couple matches, and suddenly it catapults you in the other direction. It’s a forced loss. Once the game has determined that i’ve won my quota for a period of time, it’s nothing but absolute stomps until it resets itself. Then I can get a few more under my belt and it continues until I just quit for the night.

Just earlier I was playing a match and could not figure out why my team was being rolled so hard. Like, it was as I said above, like we were brand spanking new to the game being dominated by GM style players. Then I realized that my last 3 matches before that were 1 where my team dominated, and then 2 where we won but had a fight a little. Suddenly, I can’t play to save my life. And that continued for 2 or 3 more lobbies until I lost a sufficient amount.

I then went on to drop a 32-0 K/D winning match.

That wild of a swing should not be possible in a game that is “balanced”.
