An Access Violation is a Windows error, not an Overwatch client error.
Usually it’s caused by things like:
- Security apps interfering after updates.
- Unstable overclocks on RAM, CPU, or GPU.
- OneDrive or similar backup utility taking over files.
- Improper permissions for file directory where game assets are located.
- DNS on machine/network not resolving hostnames properly to the match server.
The report doesn’t say what’s happening in your case. You might be able to review the Error Reporting section of both your DxDiag and MSInfo to find the culprit. I can help with those if you post them on Pastebin.com and link here.
