I have never asked for a counter for Tracer or asked not to nerf her…
- I’d stop playing Tracer completely if it meant, that i could play Mccree without getting completely destroyed, by Brigitte.
Brig isnt a free kill with Tracer, but Tracer has 11m drop off range over Brig’s 6m. You can challenge her AND win the duel if you aren’t braindead. Soldier is mid-range - you shouldn’t be in front of Brigette anyway.
Both of those characters can win the MU against Brig. If you’ve any sort of practice or skill on those heroes, you should be fine.
You probs shouldn’t run Cree against her though. You’re right on that.
Brigitte is more of a indirect counter to S76, have you ever tried to play soldier vs a armor heavy comp, It feels like his bullets heal the enemy’s, more than they do dmg.
Yeah, let’s just have some heroes be bad cuz they were good before.
With this logic mercy should be off-meta for 2 years.

But if we’re talking 76 vs Brigette?
76 should be far enough away that even Brig’s whip shot can’t touch him; harassing her from mid-range. If she has shield up, you shoot at it. One clip and Helix should be enough.
He is far from helpless against her in that context. In an armor heavy comp, just use one of the following:
The snipers, DF, Pharah, JR, Orisa/Hog - burst damage isn’t just exclusive to a few heroes. And Brig isn’t OP.

To be honest, it’s better to just cool down for a couple of months - or years - until they’ve properly balanced Brigitte. At the moment she just takes all the fun out of the game, more so than any Tracer and Genji has ever done. At least when I was out-played by a Tracer or Genji, I knew they were literally better than I was. They deserved their victory because they were generally good.
Brigitte on the other hand, hold up shield, stun, whip and smash. Basically no strategy involved, no map awareness needed, nothing. Getting killed by her is the cheapest, most dirtiest thing you the world, because she’s so easy. I even feel dirty playing her and apologise to the opposing team for bringing the cancerous Swede to the fight. I thought it felt cheap being killed by Hanzo’s scatter from across the world, but it isn’t comparable with being killed by Brigitte.
You honestly think they play or don’t play heroes depending on how they feel about them? This is their job. They’re in it for the win for more money. They’ll play whatever works best. Just look at when Mercy was insane, they were all complaining about her but also all playing her at the same time.

She is not played every map or mode. She’s actually seeing pretty low usage. Dive is still useful.

So many people rather have Tracer than Brig, that makes me happy.
I’m not a support main and some day you people will realise that stats on some stupid chart don’t tell you everything you need to know. I flex.
I mostly always pick last and fill, not my fault that people don’t pick supports.
People sure are hot headed about this.
It is a pretty big change in meta so aggravation is expected, as are calls for nerfs, buffs, or deleting heroes. This is especially true for those who play heeoes who simply aren’t as strong anymore. Playing Tracer into a Brigitte won’t get you anywhere, just as playing Pharah into Soldier or Winston into Bastion will end in failure. It’s just how the game is. If you’re not finding success playing certain heroes, switching it up might be a good idea. Try Hanzo or Pharah, they’re really good right now. Even Reaper has his moments. However, if your solution to this problem is for the game to fix itself around you, you’re thinking about it wrong. Change yourself to be successful at the game. You’ll be happier.

Where do you get these. There is no reason to run Junk or Pharah, if you can even remotely aim with a sniper. DM is just bad overall and i have a feeling you have not played Hog vs Brigs, because then you would not say that he’s good against her. Really the only one’s worth playing vs. brigs are the sniper, which in some way is the point of this post, i don’t want to play 2 heroes every single.
All you can offer are 2 DPS? Whats this “Switching up” youre talking about if only those 2 DPS are viable?

A lot of good Pharah player can duel soldier and win a 1v1 reliably. Bastion counters everybody if you just jump on him without thinking. Against Brigs there is no way you can out play the brigs with Tracer.
Fair enough. I assumed it was probably more - but I still stand by the sentiment that 76 into Brig isn’t completely in her favor.
…okay? That doesn’t take from the fact Pharah and JR are excellent against Brigette anyway. They fit right alongside Hanzo/WM as Brig’s most competent counters.
Relative to the other tanks (Zarya is a 50/50), I’d certainly say Hog can work against Brig. So long as he baits the SB so she can’t stun him out of heals. At that point just spam into her shield, or hook when it’s down.
We… are talking 1v1 scenarios, right? Because if we are, even Reinhardt can challenge Brig in CQC.
Tracer is better than S76 against Brigitte. At least you can chase down Brig if she is low on hp or draw her away from the fight. Soldier just stands there and eventually gets dunked on by Hanzo.
