Everyone needs to chill over a cartoon

Oh, I didn’t realize that when someone defines a word, you just don’t agree to the definition. That’s kind of funny though. What other words definitions do you disagree with?

I’m going to be respectful and honest about pronouns usage here.

I believe and I respect the “They/Them” usage regarding Venture’s and other real-life people, but respectfully again, in-game, if you’re genuinely taking too much time to make a pronoun callout, it might lose you a fight realistically speaking. “They” 's usage might also infer a group of people and could potentially give a mistaken callout due to unawareness of Venture’s lore.

I know we have people who are on the fence regarding this whole debate, but please be logical, it’s even tougher for those of us with langage barriers even and I speak as someone who learnt English mostly via video games since school didn’t teach me much of it as a French Canadian/Quebecer.

I don’t agree with people hating on the usage doe, I just thing logistically speaking, the pronoun shouldn’t be a barrier for comms and a missusage for comprehension.

Except I didn’t ask you to define a word. I asked you to elaborate.

I say gender is the sex of humans. Where is the counter argument?

Here, I’ll explain this to you. Because a definiton, is WHAT A WORD MEANS.

def·i·ni·tion

/ˌdefəˈniSHən/

noun

a statement of the exact meaning of a word, especially in a dictionary.

No it isn’t. It doesn’t tell me why the definition is correct.

Do as you wish, but I just wanted to point out a caveat in a neutral take since I’m mostly in the middle rather than on either’s For/Against side.

This again…

If they were born a woman then they are a woman. It is their birthright. Babies aren’t born and immediately know that they’re of the opposite sex. So somewhere along the way things happen to that child that are not immediately expressed or helped in any way. Now thanks to gender affirming surgery and care, even confused teenagers can change their appearance if they so desire.

But they were still born a woman. That will never change in their entire life.

Different dictionaries have different definitions. You’re forced to agree to some and disagree with others.

I disagree with yours.

What? Do you have some kind of mental deficiency too?

When someone shows you what a word means in the dictionary you just say, “na uh!” lol. You are funny or trying to troll or maybe a speshul person. Regardless, bye

They just had to include the unnecessary self promotion…

For the record I didn’t ask you, I was interested in Mbrace’s opinion but it appears they’ve ignored my question haha. Can’t imagine why lol

But just to clarify, so you’d call him “she” if you were to meet him in real life?

Because I don’t trust whatever woke propaganda dictionary you pulled that from. It’s not the only dictionary that exists.

Show me one that defines it your way, lol.

This should be fun

If that was her birth given gender, yes. I don’t and never will agree with modern science when it comes to simply changing someone’s appearance just to appear less feminine or masculine. That is modern science at work – not nature.

You can just admit that you were wrong now, take the L and move on

Very intriguing Arcadius :joy:

I also appreciate the switch up from using “they” pronouns to “she” pronouns to refer to him haha. It’s fun to see the cogs in your brain turn as you try to work this out. Anyway, that’s all. Just a question.
