Every 3rd game or so unplayable since 1.44.0.0.65302 patch

Since patch, every third game or so goes like so:

Takes a long time to connect. Visuals look like they are stuttering. Join game and cursor moves around just fine, but game is amazingly slow and sluggish. FPS is about 12 (I usually have 240+.) Pick character, spawn, FPS drops to 1 or 2. Audio is very slow and distorted. Sounds a bit like I’m in the middle of getting hit with a sleep dart 100% of the time.

Obviously, the game is unplayable at 1-2 FPS.

DxDiag shows no errors. Last game I joined where this happened I just exited Overwatch the moment I hit the character select screen. Log file is:

Howdy!

Since time is a factor as it takes about 3 games to occur and “Audio is very slow and distorted.” when the issue occurs. This is an outstanding sign along with the performance drop in FPS that the CPU is being throttled likely due to overheating.

We can confirm this by collecting some data. Can you please download and run HWmonitor. Keep it running in the background while you play 3+ games. When the issue occurs exit Overwatch then take a screenshot of HWmonitor showing the CPU temperatures, I would also take another screenshot showing the GPU temperatures.
