No, her win rates barely changed in GM, and her pick rates, while more exaggerated than other ranks mirrored the exact same big peak followed by a very rapid drop.
People got used to dealing with her there as well as they did everywhere.
Right now she enjoys a 0.27% pick rate in GM.

Its not like he moved on to Tracer after they destroyed Sombra and is now Salty that Tracer doesnt have as much solo carry potential anymore.
They did keep in an I on her just a big I the covers the list of her problems and possible fixes.
No one on forums or at lower ranks felt Tracer’s ult killing tanks was a problem. I have no idea where that came from, I’ve never seen that as an issue raised in a full 2 years on these or the eu forums.
Except it was true? Multiple streamers leaked that the pros were unhappy with Sombra, and they kept asking for nerfs.
They’re literally the reason why she got nerfed.

For a year and half I’ve tried to enjoy sombra but blizz clearly doesn’t wants me to.
Brig, hanzo, mercy or what not are able to be around and do whatever they want for months upon months and blizz “fix” is a extremely small nerf, meanwhile sombra finally sees some relevance doing the one thing they forced her to do because they’ve stripped her of everything that makes an actual hero and they nerf her.
You say it’s “unfun” yet brig is allowed to go wild, hanzo can one shot you from a mile away while melting tanks and having insane mobility, but it’s unfun that sombra does what YOU, AS A DEV TEAM, forced her to do because you REMOVED EVERYTHING ELSE SHE HAD and you REFUSE to add what she’s missing.
They just don’t want her to be relevant, simple as that.

Except she didn’t get better in high end play, her stats barely shifted post-buff:
Here you can see the big spike where everyone jumped on her to try her out and then the steep decline as people stopped playing her.
Additionally all of the doomsayers who cried about how the sky was falling because Sombra got buffed and players who thought she was OP should be embarrassed and not taken seriously by anyone.
Xqc was the one that cry the most for sombra nerfs and even now he is crying for sombra nerfs
xQc doesnt care for overall game balance. Hes a tank player and every hero which gives him problems is busted in his eyes.
I read that reddit-post… This is so ridiculous! It seems that Sombra coming to the table of viable heroes scared them s***less. I guess they realized that Sombra shuts down their most used strategies which would cause them to overthink gameplans. We can’t do that, right? Would implicate that they adept to something that they are not used to see for quite a while. Well, then learn your Spanish, people! 
And being hard-countered happens, for christ sake. “Sombra>Lucio” is not the only hard-counter relation in the game.

Yeah it’s why you can’t trust pros. They don’t want the meta to get shaken up, they want to keep it the way it is. I mean if you’re a pro widowmaker/genji/Tracer, do you really want your character to become non-meta and now you might be replaced?
The threat of Sombra hard countering a lot of popular heroes like Genji / Tracer scared them. Of course the jokes on them, because those heroes got phased out of the meta by Brig/Hanzo anyway.
Exactly, pro players are interested in one thing and one thing alone: making money, they are going to do everything in their power to make sure nothing gets in the way of them making money, so naturally they’re going to want anything that shakes up the meta to be gone ASAP so they can have easier and more predictable games.
And Blizzard will listen to them because pros are free advertisement and helps them rake in cash, so keeping them happy is in their best interest.
Them and the players who buy alt accounts and masses of lootboxes are the only players that really matter, the rest of us are just noise who have served our purpose of buying their game.
Not even a month. Not even half a month. One day.
It’s more of a ‘she’s too easy to counter’ problem. Plus in GM and Master, we have double sniper meta, which is terrible for sombra despite the fact that theoretically her low range and ability to close it should be putting her at an advantage vs sniper heroes.
We have changes going in for Sombra for our July patch. Most likely, the changes will show up on the PTR sometime next week or soon after that. They are pretty significant.
I’m not going to detail the changes for now as they are still in flux. But playtesting has gone well and we’re eager to improve her.
