this is 100% a subpar experience, I’m starting to miss overwatch 1… I really lost all faith in this game, I will not support it… if it is not one bug is another and another and another, I’ve been trying to play with my friends for a week now, this gives me a strong familiar air… guess which other multiplayer blizz games went free 2 play changed their monetization to a greedy sh*t fest and now are in maintenance mode yep sc2 and hots…
Same here, been waiting for a game for 10 min and I think I gotten that error msg every minute.
You know what gets game developers’ attention? Leaving their game for a better one. Honestly if you want to make an impact…make it with your time investment and choose to invest your time somewhere else other than Blizzard. It hurts their bank account which is what they respond the fastest to. I think everyone should be able to file a complaint on the forums but honestly…it just lets them know that they’ve got you by the balls when you express your frustration over an inability to play with their product.
Bad products and bad services deserve to fail.

Same issue here, was still able to play games today until 30 minutes-1 hour ago, when I now keep encountering the error. It’s super annoying + can’t even go into the Practice Range
Ohh now there’s a banner statement rofl. Yep experiencing the same issues here.
Im about done with ow2. The games a joke the bugs are a joke and its nothing more then ow1 patched to be worse.
Guess ill play a real game, polished and fun. Aka Elden ring, blizzard can learn something from fromsoftware
The banner message :We are aware of an issue where players are experiencing difficulty accessing certain game content. We are currently investigating and working to resolve this as soon as possible". By certain game content they mean actually playing the game. Wow.

How is it possible they applied like 5 updates to the game and made it WORSE somehow. I didn’t have any issues except first day overloaded servers. Today, after whole day, finally had some time to finish the daily achievemenets and now I won’t even be able to do that. Yay. 5 months grind for one skin will be 10 months because the game is so broken.
OMG! I’m GLAD I ain’t the only ONE! Seriously the first problem I had was when the Press “A” to Play on the main menu screen didn’t work even though OW was working completely fine now for me like days ago recently. Fast forward to two days later, today I fixed it by “Holding down 10 seconds on the Xbox power button” And VOILA! It worked!.
The Point and how this is relevant? Well after I fixed that issue, I was finally able to play a game. Unfortunately however, it was one game (We lost, my team did great but I did freaking bad OOF, the rust is real) but HERE’S the kicker!
“ERROR Starting Game, Trying again”
After multiple attempts, nothing. I just was able to play one game for the day (Today Oct 13th) and still get ‘Error starting game’, it doesn’t even load the game even though the game is already found, but stuck in a waiting “GAME FOUND” loop… It doesn’t help after waiting I can’t either play Practice range to wait, or I’m in a lobby where it’s a “Waiting for more players queue” game to NO prevail…
Hopefully this gets acknowledge and fixed ASAP by Blizzard eventually. I thought today’s maintenance was supposed to fix stuff but apparently not. I could careless for anything else just let me play the game please, RIP me.
(I was even planning to go out as far to make a official forum post so this situation gets the needed awareness like legit I thought it was just me until I stumble across this forum post, thank god I’m not alone unfortunately though, we’re in the same boat guys)
Basically havent been able to play for last hour or so. It just sits on “Found game” but never joins. Keep getting the same message as OP. Obviously they screwed something up.
Oh well, I gave no money for this game, plant to give no money to it because the battlepass is crap. If problems last too long, or something else comes long, game gets uninstalled and I move on.

I can’t load Quick Play. When I try to open Practice Range, it won’t let me join that either.

Practice vs AI seems to work
this has been happening since the servers went back online after maintenance however earlier it would actually eventually find a game. Now that everyone is logging in its completely hosed… its a joke at this point tbh
Lmao, Blizz Launcher: “We are aware “SOME PLAYER” are having difficulty accessing “SOME GAME CONTENT””. Like really Blizz? You come out with that sorry excuse? over 10K players are having trouble accessing ALL Content… Do better and fix your damn servers…

I’m having the same issue, I wanted to play today because I work 15 hours tomorrow and wont be able to play. Disappointed that I probably wont be able to play at all tonight.

I thought it was just merging issues, can’t play the game because for some reason it was taking time moving my stuff from OW1
But now I see it’s a bigger issue, bleh
