Is unplayable at every rank. I’m a plat, mercy main and it suck to play at this ping. really hoping they fix this soon. :disappointed_relieved:

Dude very similar situation. My normal latency was 100ms~ and on Monday on the ord1 servers its 180ms~. Once I even connected to the pse1 servers in Singapore with 340ms. I tested 4 games and only ARK had the same issue. Maybe they use similar servers.

Im from PR and I have Liberty. My friend has Claro and he doesnt have this problem.

Hmm it is strange because Liberty offers the highest download and upload speed on the island yet I keep hearing Claro has better latency in games despite their highest offer being a downgrade as far as speed goes. Does your friend play Overwatch also? Could you ask what latency they get with Claro?

I just signed to LoL right now to check ping and I’m getting a STABLE and CONSTANT 81ms ping, so this is on Blizzard’s end

You go in the game, either quick play or training grounds and press shift+ctrl+N a graph will appear, to the top left is the server.

From stvincent and the grenadines. On monday i was getting 100 - 120ms ping.
From tuesday, im getting 225 ms, 95% of the players speak spanish. This is unacceptable.

Really hoping this is resolved soon because my sr will start to decay soon and i dont want to play with 180-200 ping :frowning:

ive been playing with him for a long time and his latency is inconsistent. When its stable the best he gets with Claro is 85-95ms, I get 95ms at best. The problem with Claro is that his connection spikes a lot and sometimes he cant even play online. Right now he tells me he has 110ms. He lives 5 minutes from me in San Juan.

This is really annoying cause Im busy all the time and this weekend Im gonna be completely free and this sh*t happens. :expressionless:

I was looking at that today. I have 3 days to play or my SR is donzo. Im 3867 (career high) so Im hurting.

Hi Guys;

I too am having problem with Overwatch’s latency. Liberty Puerto Rico ISP 100/10. Usual Ping 90ms after Ping and RTT merge. Getting 180ms to 200ms constantly now. Makes the game unplayable for me since I get kicked around by the enemy team.

Removed the last T of the word NET so I could post the results.

Thank you all for posting the WinMTRs and looking-glasses. We are continuing to investigate what is causing this increase in the latency for players in the Caribbean. Thank you all for your patience while we look in to this.

Just so you know, its not only on Overwatch, but it also affects World of Warcraft at least for me. Thanks for the replies.

I tried Fortnite, GTA V, ARK, and Overwatch. ARK and Overwatch have the same problems. I have better latency in EU (160ms) than NA (185ms) on both games. Fortnite and GTA are normal at 90-100ms.

hopefully it has nothing to do with the underwater cable that connects the whole region.
