During season 3 there were many players who dropped between 1k to 1,5 sr. You surely will say, oh lordy lordy, they must git gud.
What you ignore is that most of the “misplaced” players will buy another copy of this game. Hence profit or revenue. Why fix something that generates income and stimulates greed?
You may know about OW and whatnot, but what you do not know about is business.
To get out of elo hell you need at least one more person to compensate the nonsense in the team comp and strats. And even when not solo Q, it is going to be ridiculous.
