A bit of diversity can be cool, but I’m pretty sure I’d grow fed up with sleeping with blue people. Especially if I can only enjoy it for 10 seconds before they turn back into an iron brick.

I’ll be honest, I don’t care much for Echo. I think she’s the least interesting character in the entire roster. I don’t even hate her. I just nothing her, which is kinda worse than hating.
That’s aesthetic / lore / personality wise, ofc. Mechanically she’s fine.

Finally, an individual of taste. Echo is so great. She’s the first character I opted to get a signed poster of, even after being a Lucio main for 5 years, all because I really love how Echo was implemented.
I just think she’s really cool. I was very surprised when they added the hero I wanted the most, from the initial reveal of OW–from that picture of the roster, if you remember.
She had that Athena logo, right there to the right of Tracer.
I love that sleek body type, and while I’m sad they didn’t go with that design (I hope there’s a skin that looks somewhat like this one day), I couldn’t ask for much more with the final product.

She has like twice the personality of Pharah. That isn’t saying much, but you know, generic soldier with mommy issues is super low on my interesting characters list.

echo looks like she is made out of a futuristic type of plastic that is very durable and flexible 
her personality is a treat of its own to me

Echo is so generic and emotionless, her plastic look reminds of a Toile.seat.
Massive DPS & interesting ult but the voice and personality does nothing. Even Bastion with his 2 tone robot voice has more character.
It’s true because Echo can be all the waifus (and husbandos, if that’s what you prefer) in the game.
Also, she’ll try anything once and there is no off switch
