Eating a burrito during comp

So my friend was in a game where one of his teammates was just munchin on a burrito. Alot of people flamed him for it, i guess, but he had three gold so clearly he was trying.

3 of them reported him and my question is: Are you allowed to eat during comp if youre actually trying to win and doing a good job at it, or is this reportable?

The important question is what kind of burrito was it?

Reporting someone for doing something that helps us live and thrive in this world? Heck, we might as well report people for breathing.

I don’t see any reason to report someone who is just trying to replenish their stomachs of the hunger they have. Yet I’d advise not making it so…noticeable. I’d mute the mic if I were that guy.

I’d also like to know. I enjoy a good burrito from time to time.

Not as bad as a game I had last night. One dude was getting stoned and was who knows where rambling about who knows what, and another guy on the mic was discussing how he is suicidal and suffers depression. Never have I hit a mute button so fast, not even for squeakers.

Well, you said it yourself, he was trying and got three golds. I don’t think that’s reportable. If, however, the eating was interfering with his gameplay and he was performing poorly or wasn’t trying, I guess that’s reportable?

I mean, chewing into the mic is a bit gross and obnoxious. That is probably reportable as “spam” or something.

Otherwise, eating while playing is fine, as long as you don’t let it affect the match.

If his mic was open I’d snap. I don’t need to hear that. Otherwise all good.

Depends entirely on if the chewing could be heard on mic. If no, I don’t care. IF it was, that is worse than nails on a chalkboard and I want to shoot him.

Yeah, I really hate that. Someone makes a bunch of noise plugging in and turning on their mic, but then after that they never say a word, never call anything out, just chomping away.

i agree burritos are soo good

Once I was in competitive skirmish and a younger player nicely asked if anyone would order him pizza. And sadly I was with a mic that time. I asked why he’s asking that at midnight and he said “I’m hungry”. He was in my actual competitive game as well. And once again he asked the same question. This went on for several minutes.

In short, no. He did not deserve to be reported. He wasnt dojg anything against the rules. Eating while he’s respawning or while he’s safe is not an offense. And if he had 3 gold’s, then he’s doing better than those who were not eating. So I guess the takeaway is that burritos help you win Comp…

Burritos…muy delicioso, mi amigo. Me gusta comida mexicana. Y tú?

We have endured! The dive meta’s reign will bother us no more!

I’d report the hell out of him. No way he’s eating a burrito and wiping his hands off before he goes back to playing. That’s a crime against gaming.

yes probably some of my favorite food is Mexican and it is sooo good.

Lo sé, ojalá pudiera tenerlo todos los días
