As for the Moira main thing, I haven’t touched her since poke meta started. I’ve been playing offtanks and dps, mainly Ashe, Dva, Orisa, Tracer, and I’m thinking of picking up sigma or hog until the meta’s over.
I can complain on all the issues I want however since I predominantly flex. Also have 190 hours on Mystery heroes so I’m the jack of all trades, master of 3, not to mention the extensive research and video watching I engage in during my free time. I know a good bit about this game and I can safely say I can comment on this kind of thing.

Because shockingly, you haven’t made any other glaring mistakes. I capitalised on your mistakes because they are funny. And I’m tired of pretending they aren’t.
D.va is just an awkward Ball at this point. Compared to any of the other tanks, she feels clunky, and sometimes even confused.
Her main issue seems to be how little she can mitigate damage to herself. The next biggest, is how clunky and unsustained her abilities are.
Damage mitigation:
A-D strafing barely does anything for her, and her critbox is still easy to go for when compared to standing tanks. This is because, if you go for Zarya’s head, and miss, you hit nothing. However, if you go for D.va’s head, and miss, you still deal damage. Diving people as her usually ends up with you getting de-meched.
She can’t use corners, like other tanks, because she’s a giant oval, and people can shoot her sides.
Clunkiness of abilities:
It seems to me that D.va is built as a ‘combo abilities’ style character, e.g. combo Boosters, Defense Matrix, Rockets, Fusion Cannons and then melee hits, for a dive.
This doesn’t work, because of her effective range when combined with the damage she takes and has to mitigate from her team. The cooldowns are so awkwardly timed, that it’s hard to have them all up to make a dive:
Fusion Cannons do good damage, when you’re close, but getting close without enormous amounts of healing or support from the other tank leave you unable to get close enough to do that damage. Compare this to any other ranged tank, who can spam for the entire match.
Boosters are needed for EVERYTHING. D.va only gets damage off, when she’s close to enemies, they will kite you because of this. You will use boosters to close the gap, lose 60% of your health by the time you reach your effective range, and then need boosters to escape.
Another point about Boosters is the fact that they can boop is good and bad, but really a strange design choice. For peeling it’s ok, but even saving someone from a Hog with boop, is silly, because he’s displaced one person and now you’re also displaced with them. The boop for offensive Boosters doesn’t make sense, because she WANTS to be close to enemies, so why knock them away?
Defense Matrix is needed for sustained damage reduction on your team, selective damage reduction on specific abilities, and damage reduction on yourself when diving. This combined with how inconsistent it can sometimes be really frustrating.
Micro Missiles make the Boosters >Micro Missiles > Fusion Cannons > punch combo feel awful. D.va is capable of Crits with Fusion Cannons, but the Missiles are projectile, making the combo feel really strange and clunky. as you need to make the projectiles hit the body of your target preferably, while actually wanting to aim for heads. ‘Am I aiming the Missiles or the Fusion Cannons?’
Being de-meched is the cherry on the cake for how bad she is. Yeah, you can’t die straight away, but the enemy team just abuses that and staggers you. The vulnerability of you being out of the mech vs good players doesn’t always feel like a good thing.

More armor and dps just to be on par with the other tanks.
Buffing the DM will just make her OP.
She dies instantly beacuse people don’t understand the concept of a tank and they removed her health, it’s obvious seeing how her guns do 2 damage and her rockets might as well not exist that everyone just picking on dva being “too op” has gotten to the devs even though it was never true , it’s just hard for little timmy to wrap his head around the fact that a tank is supposed to be really strong in damage and health so that they can push a team of players directly and not die in 2 seconds.

She still needs to be buffed there’s been no inkling of work towards fixing her since this post, maining her is just fuel for depression at this point since you equally have to carry the match , die constantly with deaths that are plotted out to confuse the enemy team , and have your team call you useless or that you’re taking something from them just by playing her 100% of the time and I’d suggest everyone just stop playing this awful game.
Her biggest problem is she effectively has half health like Winston because it’s actually easier to hit her crit spot than it is to not hit it.
I mean, as a dva main, no she doesnt need a buff.
Like 12-13m matrix would be nice, but Id not say she really needs it. Its much more that other roles need nerf, dva herself isnt one of the weaker tanks.
Zarya on the other hand we could argue needs something, maybe. I think zarya would be fine too if not for the absurd long range burst dmg
