Where are you getting stats? On this week’s overbuff GM tank stats I’m seeing 5% above Winston, compared to a 3% difference between Rein and Zarya. She also has the highest winrate among the tanks, and while there is a ~4k damage gap Dva is still higher than all other tanks including Hog.
And going by monkey v rein pickrates as a proxy for dive maps, this is still happening outside a dive meta and it really shouldn’t. It’s gonna be ugly when the meta pendulum swings back.
I’m running with “this month” because neither are in a particularly accurate place at the moment.
Looking at this week, however, I get roughly 7% below Zarya and 5% over Winston, which correlates to a hero that is not bound as stringently to dive as Winston but is still not dominating the other off tanks (hog is, well, still hog)
D.Va has not outperformed Zarya in winrate in the past six months, so I would withhold judgement on a “this week” status on it.
Fact is DVA and Monkey both are broken. Since they got buffed many seasons ago they never had any tank comparable to them. Both of them were the reason for diva and even tho it was very obvious they never got slapped.
So it’s time it happens. Slap them hard.
