If we’re going for realism then why doesn’t it just do 600 damage and oneshot a roadhog? He’s just a normal guy he wouldn’t survive if a mech landed on him either. While we’re at it let’s make doomfist do way more damage. They said his gauntlet can topple skyscrapers in that one cinematic

Open that can of worms up and might as well give D.vas much more realistic physics like a reload and the inability to fly.
Same for all the other heroes.

Agreed but then people would once again complain that their bad decisions = death without acknowledging they messed up. 250 is fine.

Bottom line is that the rarely useful mech change can be swapped out for something just as “fun” and helpful. Idk why people think it’s so quirky and neat when there’s always a better idea.
yes, I want to rework baby D.Va, to give her abilities etc.
Like in heroes of the storm… but we won’t get that anytime soon, or even if we get that.

I just don’t know why people are so adamant to defend 250 kill remech when they should be arguing for baby D.va to get… something! 
So far the “better ideas” is Dva taking bunny blaster and pointing it at herself. I’ll take my call mech damage instead lol. Less morbid

Because Remech Damage being buffed was fine, and doesn’t hurt the game at all.
We have larger issues than a ultimate dealing 250 damage in a 2.5 meter radius.
That’s why.

It’s just something that doesn’t need to exist when we can give D.va something better that actually addresses her issues.
Also, her ultimate already gives her 300 health and 300 armor. A chance at a 2nd life. Lots of heroes have ultimates with drawbacks. Much less 2 ultimates.
Trust me, I’d give up Baby D.Va for a better DM and tankiness… but we aren’t ready for that.

The fact that call mech is infact an ultimate is why its damage is justified. It’s telegraphed and very punishable. There’s nothing wrong with it.

I would agree with you if it wasn’t something you get to use because you died. I think being able to get remech if you died early in the fight and keep going is good enough because the alternative if you play any other tank is usually losing the fight. Staggering is the only real issue and this change doesn’t address it at all.
