there is no recommended or defined optimal number of occurrences of any character, including Zarya

even if there is a zarya on both teams in every single one of your matches, there is no “zarya threshhold” that has been breached

He punishes you for not being behind a shield or behind a wall 24/7, not even bad positioning

Is that because of controllers or inability to deal with them?

(you’re never going to live that down btw and with good reason)

Because Blizz needs to meta enforce hitscans as the top DPS picks on every mode or else every orphan in the world will instantly die, it seems.

Not that it matters because the remaining dps playerbase wont pick Sym even if their lives depend on it.

There is no healing source in this game that can overpowered the correct DPS hero.

What often happens is that people pick the worst DPS possible against certain tanks and then complain that tanks are immortal - of course Orisa wont die if all people play is headshot dependent hitscans or flankers… who Orisa is meant to counter.

Say this to people who are crying Tanks can’t die since the DPS Passive has been reduced to 15% or less for Tanks.
Pretty sure both Supports healing could overcome DPS heroes. It comes also to target picking.

I have. Most of the time I get offended gasps followed by ‘‘how dare you tell me to swap out of my hitscan waifu and pick up that… that… [gag sound] disgusting Symmetra???’’.

In the end all their woes are self inflicted.

Depends on the heroes in question. Supports on average heal 60 hps counting reloads and with no abilities. Most DPS have 150 dps with no abilities counting reload.

No or we end up with heroes like Hazard! His block attack goes for turrents too. I have seen people just run pass Symmetra´s turrets or Torbjorns and just die because of them. We don´t need dps heroes with aimbots outside ult just because some players can´t hit the side of a barn.

I really wish I could experience this. I WANT to see more zarya in my games. But hazard, ball and doomfist are completely busted. Zarya is so trash in comparison. Not saying she needs buffs, but these 3 tanks are actually dumb. Who thought giving doom baby nerfs when he still has AOE punch would be a good idea. Who thought hazard was a good idea in general :skull: That tank is genuinely overpowered (not overtuned, OVERPOWERED, yup)

She selfheal when damaging shield but only her shield hp. Her gun doesnt get deflected by Genji or eaten by D.VA´s damage matrix.

And for some reason people ignore her turrets…

So, Sym in particular is supposed to be strong into barrier users and those with shield health. This is due to a few reasons. The first, is that her beam gets stronger the longer you hold it on an enemy, including any enemy entity even if it’s not a player (like Rein’s barrier). This helps her to quickly DPS enemies within range. Barriers within range are basically impossible to miss, making building charge for her beam fairly easy.

Secondly, while using her beam on a barrier or shield health it actually recharges her ammo count. As long as a barrier is in her face, she can use her beam indefinitely. This combos well with her beam’s damage increasing as she hits her targets with it.

Lastly, she also heals a small amount of her shield health while holding her beam on barrier / shield users.

For these reasons, she’s supposed to be good against barrier users in particular. I say supposed to be, but I personally think overall she’s weak outside of very specific maps and only because her teleporter helps enable plays on those maps that otherwise cannot happen. Hope this helps.

or they just need to not buff rein shield to be 2000HP

it was the dumbest buff for 6v6

just so blizzard can say “so in 6v6 shields were an issue, 5v5 is superior we were right !”
