Dooms block should not be affected by sleep

Semi random- but I’d just be happy if you could block sticky nades. Every tank can do something to mitigate those.
With doom it’s “hope they miss”

True tbh it’s also weird u can get empowered off of blocking a tire but echo nades do literally nothing

Yep, idk why tbh also rock knocks u on ur as55 aswell as spear probably the worse of them all as it’s the easiest to hit and comes up every 6 seconds so she can put tempo u

What if Doom was invulnerable to CC while blocking. And after the block ended, he had like 4 seconds before all the CC put on him through the block, affected him all at once?
(that said, Doom has Movement for days, and the fact that he has to be vulnerable makes for a fine balance between tanking damage and being a flying meteor)

Nah Doom just has a toxic kit
If he’s good the game just feels bad for the others and CC blocking would be too strong on him
Just revert him back to DPS, he clearly ain’t made to be a tank, he doesn’t even play like one atm

But then he could actually tank things meant for teammates, instead of just being a brawler.

Personally I don’t think it should block Cc, he might be too good. I do think block could go back to 90% though. It’s supposed to be a BLOCK but it gets you killed faster lol.

Block reduces incoming damage.

It does not stop status effects.

Ana can sleep you. Ana can anti-nade you.

I know this may come as a shock, but some characters may make things difficult for other characters.

Overall, DF counters Ana way more than Ana counters DF.

You can’t buff him just in case there’s an ana in the game. That makes no sense.

I agree, he really fit better as a brawly DPS like Mei (in terms of beefy-ness).
However, now that OW players think one-shots is the worst thing in the world, more so than war and famine, would you re-introduce his oneshot? Or just reduce his health and move him back as he is now?

OW2 is so confused about what it wants to do about hero identity in every aspect of the way.
We have a few “main tanks”: Rein, Sig, Rammatra, Winston, DVA
And then the rest is off-tanks to different degrees…
We have the old “Defensive” heroes, Mei, Symm, Torb, Junkrat, snipers etc…

This would be a good compromise.

Even test it in experimental first and see how players feel.

I’d surely remove the oneshot. I was an advocate for it since OW1. I’d keep the 1s charge but and increase the damage
I’d go for the 20m seismic slam and uppercut recovery of 0.2, as it was initially and tweak him from there.

I’d even keep Doom as a tank but give back the uppercut and slam functionalities
